| The Hilton Pittsburgh is a lovely hotel situated in a
picturesque setting right at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela
Rivers. It is undergoing major renovation that will enhance our use of the
hotel with more dining area, a swimming pool and upgrading all the rooms.
This is to be completed several months before our Tournament. But in
the mean while, they will not accept room reservations for
IWKA2009 (use
this designation when registering) until July 1, 2008. There are only
30 rooms reserved for Thursday evening and 250 rooms for each night of Friday and Saturday
at the rate of $124. Other hotels in the area are charging $159 and up
currently. This is expected to be higher by the Tournament time. Rates for
rooms beyond the block of rooms we have reserved will be scarce and
considerably more expensive so we urge you to register as soon after July 1,
2008 as you can.
Please indicate on your Application Form if you will be looking to register at the Hilton. If we have an early count of over flow, we will attempt to make reduced fee accommodations with other nearby hotels. |
